Dr. Stefan Ciz
Dr. Stefan Ciz is a dentist anaesthesiologist with a referral based practice in Kitchener, Ontario. He graduated dental school from the University of Western Ontario in 1989. After completing five years as a military dentist in Goose Bay and Kingston, he moved to Ancaster, Ontario where he setup a private practice.
In 2005 he completed his three year post-graduate training in Dental Anaesthesiology at the University of Toronto. This is the only program of its kind in Canada providing special training in sedation and general anaesthesia for dental procedures.
Dr. Ciz has completed the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology examinations leading to Diplomate status and is recognized as a Dental Anesthesiology Specialist in the province of Ontario.
Dr. Ciz is known for his tender caring approach for the children that he sees, the majority of whom are between 16 months and five years of age. He also provides dental care to special needs patients that have difficulty coping with awake dentistry.
